Things H. Savinien learned from watching Maurice:
- It is always a bad sign when a gay man grows an unattractive mustache
- English college men are/were under the impression that a "Platonic" male friendship implies chastity *mrflsnort*
- Cricket is, in fact, a very amusing sport to try to decipher from watching five minutes on film. Also, the players wear tight white trousers
- It's cute to watch your crush act silly in the rain when they don't know you're watching

Clive's not quite as much of an ass as he seemed in the film, but still.
