Title: "Aaron Spacey, Handyman and Repairs" Author: H. Savinien Rating: PG Wordcount: 224 Author's Note/Context: When _samalander was only a wee bitty Sams, she went to the National Museum of Air and Space. She misheard it as "Aaron Space". emmypenny started to illustrate his superhero adventures and decreed that he was a friend of the Justice Society of America (prescursor to the JLA), and I contributed this little bit. For more of the story of Aaron Space and his continued presence on Earth, please visit his tumblr: Adventures in Air and Space.

"Aaron Space," Louiston's newest costumed crime-stopper, considered his uniform. Ar'n was dubious as to its effectiveness as a disguise, but Jayg'arrick promised that no one would connect Ar'n to "Aaron Spacey, Handyman and Repairs" while he wore it. So far, that seemed to be the case. Despite the fact that he had prevented a robbery in the middle of the public library yesterday, no one seemed to have noted that the person in the blue jumpsuit of his uniform was today repainting the wall that the thief had dented.
It was simple work, but fascinating, and the white "van" was proving to be a reliable, though slow, method of transportation, allowing for both anonymity and a convenient place to doff his coveralls in event of emergency. Al'n Scott had loaned him the currency for the van and gave him regular tutorials in Earth technology, backwards as it was. Luckily, Ar'n had always been reasonably bright, though he had dedicated his life to the pursuit of miscreants, and the mechanical aspects of Earth life were not proving too great a challenge.
Ar'n dropped his roller in the pan and scratched his cheek where the prosthetics itched. It was indeed a trial being so far from home and in such an alien place, but at least he had companionship and a way to pursue his vocation.
