Booster is a dooork! <3 Also, cheesy as hell. Completely in character.
Ahahah, he thinks he's a lady-killer. With Lois. AHAHAHAHA.
Um...that is not Jaime. Sadfaaaace. Where is the cute floppy hair and Paco and Brenda? And wtf is he in Metropolis for? Pfft. He is from El Paso. He has friends and a life-plan and an awesome family. That is kind of the POINT of Jaime.
Um. Booster's backup dancers are wearing stripperiffic versions of Michelle's Goldstar costume. That's kind of disturbing.
Ahahah, Superman jealous of Booster.
TEEEEED! TEDTEDTEDTEDTED! ...Ted's not evil, Lois, stop that.
I want a Booster t-shirt.
He's trying to co-opt the Superman fame this go round? Booster, sweetie...you don't have powers...
"Everything's for sale." - That's our ego/money-hound.
Skeets, you are, as always, the voice of reason. Booster, this is a really dumb plan.
Mrrr, I don't know that I approve of this Ted. Where's our wise-cracking science-hero dork? Kord Industries' ties to government developments aren't supposed to be this backroom. >_> AND he wouldn't do something dumb like mess with the scarab for them.
Booster, stop being a jackass. The kid's in obvious distress.
>_> The scarab bonded with one of Kord's scientists? Dan Garrett... They are profaning the reputation of Dan Garrett! Not okay!
Booster. Booster, a pissing contest with Clark Kent is not a smart move.
...Khaji da is armor, yes, but not steel plate or a frickin' mecha, what the crap is up with the bloody clanking? Nor is he into random destruction. Specific, targeted destruction, yes...
Ahahaahha, phonebooth.
Oh, kiddo... Jaime has more control over Khaji da than that! And he got it himself, not from advice from random adults.
Ted...agreed to remove the scarab. Yeah, awesome. No Blue Beetle at all. -_-
"Gotta brand it, baby!" Yessss hahahaha.
I really want a Booster Gold t-shirt. They are perfect! ^_^
Ted cameo #2 aaaand still no personality.
Jaime wants to keep the powers. *sigh*
Why is Lois everyone's life coach?
WTF, Clark. What is wrong with a smart chick wanting to marry a dork? Seriously. That is your own sneaky ego-crap. Quit it.
Conclusion:
This Booster is pretty accurate to early Booster, but not as nice. Fairly close to original backstory, but he's older and more jaded underneath the glitz because of that. Good costume and shiny future teeth heh. (approvingface)
Jaime is greatly weakened by the loss of his entire backstory and support network. DUH. Not accurate, much weaker, much less awesome. (sadface)
Ted shows no signs of actually being Ted or having a personality beyond "random businessman." (more sadface)
Two stars out of five.
