Uprising follow-up

Back from war.  My big news is that I received my Award of Arms at Saturday evening court and was publicly complimented on my dedication by His Majesty, King Michael (for being the only armored combatant to show up on the melee field at 9 a.m. on Thursday armored and ready to fight).  I won two bouts (out of a pool of ten other fighters) in the Unbelt Tourney, which is an improvement over my last tourney.  I bought shiny things, including: pretty beads, trim, a book on women in Celtic cultures, and a good helm (for which I haven't yet paid).

^__^ So proud of you m'lady. <3 *cuddle* ... I still don't know WHY they do combat at 9 AM. Ew. I believe that's when our novice tourney was.
