First six character outlines of members of the Guard, the superhero group I'm writing a series of stories about. They are the ones I have the most detail on so far.  To see the first story, Press Conference, go here.  As usual, questions and comments are welcomed.

Name: James (Jamie) Walker

Alias: Green Knight

Age: 19

Gender/Species: Male Human

Physical Description: White. Brown hair, grey eyes, 6’2”, “the lanky, gawky body of a young man still growing into his limbs.”

Powers: Manifestation of green, glowing sword, shield, and armor. These offer him protection against physical attack and energy projection.

Other Talents/Skills: Fencing, heavy fighting, swimming, and computer gaming.

Connections: Member of the Guard, cousin to Haven, in a relationship with Merlin, protégé of Deosil. Catholic.

Name: Benjamin (Ben) Garcia

Alias: Merlin

Age: 20

Gender/Species: Male Human

Physical Description: Latino.  Dark brown hair, brown eyes, 5’10”, stocky, muscular.

Powers: Windraiser, some weather control (mostly dealing with air manipulation). (Can use this to extend jumps, though not to the point of flight.)

Other Talents/Skills: Wrestling, gymnastics, swimming, and speed-reading.

Connections: Member of the Guard, in a relationship with Green Knight, son of the mayor of Salem, Oregon.

Name: Anita Madison

Alias: Haven

Age: 34

Gender/Species: Female Human

Physical Description: White. Red-brown hair, grey eyes, 5’11”, “rangy,” noticeably scarred (face, arms, legs) from an energy attack by Masquer.

Powers: Can erect temporary shields that defend against specific types of assault (i.e. fire, projectile, energy discharge, psi probe) but only one or two at a time (one per hand).

Other Talents/Skills: Acrobatics, gymnastics, dueling (trained in buckler fighting), trained in hang-gliding.

Connections: Member of the Guard, sponsored Green Knight and Merlin’s memberships, cousin to Green Knight, in a relationship with Jack. Catholic.

Name: Jinhei Long (“golden sea” “dragon”)

Alias: Judicator

Age: Very, very old

Gender/Species: Male Imperial Dragon

Physical Description: Varies. Dragon form—20’ long, red-gold scales, long, flowing red whiskers, five claws on each foot. Human form—Chinese, long black hair streaked with grey, golden skin, black eyes that flash red when he uses his power, 6’ tall, wiry.

Powers: The ability to switch between forms, stormraising, control over water, flight (in dragon form).

Other Talents/Skills: Reads, writes, and speaks over twenty languages, trained in medicine, can identify any bird on sight.

Connections: Charter member of the Guard, tutors and cares for Void.

Name: Sarah Sunderland

Alias: Deosil

Age: 46

Gender/Species: Female Android

Physical Description: Appears human. Since her body is powered by sunlight, her flesh (complex micro-solar energy cells) expands to store her power, so her weight varies considerably. When fully charged (at which point the receiving cells switch off—she can’t overload) she is quite fat while, as her energy is drained, she can become almost skeletal before she goes into emergency shutdown. Light brown hair, light brown skin, golden-brown eyes, she generally wears a pleasant, neutral expression.

Powers: Extrudes razor thin light-spikes which she uses to fight in a peculiar, spinning form of martial arts.

Other Talents/Skills: Minute attention to detail, very controlled and deliberate in emotion and movement (which can trick people into thinking her slow), photographic memory, photography.

Connections: Member of the Guard, mentor to Green Knight.

Name: Jaheim MacKenzie

Alias: Jack (“of all trades, master of none”)

Age: 32

Gender/Species: Male Human

Physical Description: African-American. Very short black hair, hazel eyes, 5’11½”, very energetic, skinny (fast metabolism), asthma.

Powers: Can take on the powers of those near him (sometimes several at once, though that burns him out quickly), and use them, though in an unskilled way.

Other Talents/Skills: Professional-level smart-aleck, gymnastics, some martial arts training, writing, cooking.

Connections: Member of the Guard, in a relationship with Haven.

Name: Brett Davidson

Alias: Rebound

Age: 19

Gender/Species: Male Human

Physical Description: White.  6’4”, lanky, dark brown hair, blue eyes. Quiet.

Powers: Phenomenally good reflexes, can dodge, defend, or take action against any attack he sees coming. Speedster (to a point)—it is not coupled with super endurance.

Other Talents/Skills: Working on a Physics undergrad, computer-gaming, sketching.

Connections: Member of the Guard.

Name: Void (V)

Alias: Void

Age: Unknown

Gender/Species: Agender Construct

Physical Description: 7’ tall, electric (literally) green eyes, dark grey rock jointed with electricity.

Powers: Can release electrical blasts, powerful blows, resistant to harm up to a point (being made of living rock).

Other Talents/Skills: Gardening (fond of Zen gardens), learning herb-medicine.

Connections: Early member of the Guard, under the care of Judicator. Alien origin.

Name: Keri Rastiana

Alias: Thirteen-thirty-seven

Age: 16

Gender/Species: Female Human

Physical Description: Afro-Latina (biracial). 5’4”, black hair, brown eyes, med. brown skin. Intense, often hyperactive (consumes large amounts of caffeine regularly).

Powers: Technowizard—can project (up to three) hardlight holograms of video-game characters and either control their actions or allow them to work from simple commands (e.g. “Fight that.”)

Other Talents/Skills: Computer programming, hacking, computer-gaming, “inventing things” (generally labor-saving devices that are too complicated to be useful).

Connections: Provisional member of the Guard (still attends high school, though she skipped a grade level and is in her senior year). Wiccan.

Name: Max Carson Jennings

Alias: Gilead

Age: 47

Gender/Species: Male Human

Physical Description: African-American. 6’1”, short, greying dark brown hair, brown eyes, dark brown skin. Tends to be very calm, but has a hot temper when roused.

Powers: Can heal simple wounds by laying-on of hands, induce stasis-coma in the seriously injured that will stabilize them for several hours.

Other Talents/Skills: PhD in Cultural Studies, still submits journal articles semi-regularly, camping.

Connections: Member of the Guard. Jewish.

Name: Maria Shettely

Alias: Wyrd

Age: 30

Gender/Species: Female Human

Physical Description: Filipina-American. Short black hair, brown eyes, 4’11”, silver tracery (like a tattoo) on her upper right arm.

Powers: Psi communication (a “shout” can disrupt someone’s thoughts entirely for a few seconds).

Other Talents/Skills: Psychiatric training, dedicated to rehabilitating the superpowered criminals they fight whenever possible, costume designing.

Connections: Member of the Guard.

Name: 2RENG (Realistic Emotion and Neural Growth Construct, Mk. 2)

Alias: Turing

Age: 11

Gender/Species: Male/agender Robot

Physical Description: 6’5”, white eyes, constructed of long, thin, flexible metal struts with a heavily-armored central core processor in his “stomach”.

Powers: Faster, stronger, and tougher than humans.

Other Talents/Skills: High level of skill in martial arts, dedicated to (literal) self-improvement, always upgrading components (thus increasing his abilities), philately.

Connections: Member of the Guard.

Man, now I wanna read about all of these guys (and gals for fairness ^_^).

Oh! Have you read Hero by Perry Moore? Well written superheroes, and the main character of the book is gay.

Me too! I'm a major comic geek. I promise I'll get more stories written eventually! I'm a little overbooked on projects at the moment.
