SO, I have finally begun watching s3 - worked my nerve up.I am partway through e2 (lagging video, taking a break) and I am overall really, really relieved. I love Mary. I love that she takes no shit from Sherlock, and is neither intimidated by him nor mean to him, that she knows when he's lying to her and that Sherlock gets it and respects her! *sotto voce* OT3...*/sv* The wedding, particularly (what I have seen so far of) the best man's speech was actually very nice, despite Sherlock awkwarding all over the beginning. Lols for charming small boys with putrefaction.
I'm really grateful that Donovan is still in commission (though I understand the actress left after this season) and not being treated poorly either by characters or the storyline. I'm fairly pleased with the Reunion, esp. John's really very justified anger. I am less thrilled with the dissing of the fans through the "Empty Hearse" society, but blah, will roll my eyes and move on.
Despite the Anderson weirdness, e1 was all right. As I said, liked John's reaction to the reunion and can live with Sherlock's complete CLUELESSNESS why this was Not Good. Interesting to see the Moran tie, looking forward to seeing where that goes!
