So, I've now seen Prince Caspian (and ooooh, thepretties!) and I was fairly happy with it, though the climactic battle was definitely cooler in the book. And there was no random Caspian/Susan stuff in the books, Thank You. I'm still squeeish over their CGI work in general, as I was for LWW, particularly the Centaurs (and there was a colt, AWWW...) and Fauns. The Trees were acceptable, as was the River King, though I was disappointed not to see his daughters. Reepicheep was YAY! (Reepicheep is always yay.) I started bouncing as soon as those Telmarine soldiers in the forest started going down (What's a foot tall and has a very sharp sword...hm? ^_^) Edmund smashing the ice was spiffy. ^_^ I was kind of hoping for the rousing of the Telmarine kids, but oh well...
Also, I watched the last of Due South yesterday. I love that show to bits, honestly. Fraser/RayK! Theirloveissoawkward.
In other news, my computer has developed an allergy to its own powercord, so I am reduced to gleaning time on the family computer and the library lab computers until it recovers. -_- This means less writing time. Bugger. I'm managing to keep up with email and LJ so far at least, but don't expect much work to get done in the way of stories as most of my rough drafts are currently unavailable.
