So, after trials and tribulations, and the purchase of expensive train fare...

I am excited.  I've got four costumes in various stages of completion, which I'll be working on finishing today, because tomorrow I'm heading out with my Dad and camping overnight so I can get on the train Bright and Early (tm) Wednesday morning.
I'm wearing my SCA garb on Thursday (after I finish trimming the neckline).
Friday, myself, yuri_shoujo, Roomie Willow, and several others will be group cosplaying Serenity's crew.  I'm Captain Mal Reynolds (still haven't found brown suspenders arghargh and need to make holster for the airsoft pistol yuri_shoujo's loaning me). Made and made until I can fit it in person.
On Saturday, I'm going to be a gremlin.  I've nearly finished that--just have to get my tools wired to my belt-chain. Done.
Sunday, I'm going to be a selkie (after I make my skin).  Done.  Looks all right.

Right--off to go work on my projects. Heading out on the road!

*snrk* Not everyday I go on my flist and see my name three times. I'M EXCITED TOO ^__^ <3 .... and I keep forgetting it's almost my birthday. I probably'll forget until like, halfway thru the day. Heh XD

You know, have I mentioned I don't really have a clue what a gremlin is in the context you mean, so whenever you say it, I immediately see the Mogwai and Gremlins from the old Gremlins movie in my head >_>; lol

A gremlin is just a mischeivous/ malicious fae who specializes in disrupting/glitching engineering and electronics. They hail from WWII, from the air force pilots and mechanics, who reported a lot of technical glitches and claimed they were the work of the creatures.

Well, yees I know that, but that's the image that comes to mind of how they look. XD <3 That and the little cartoon Gremlins from WWII cartoons. I thought it might be something else but eh, guess not. ^_^; Cool cool.
