Bits and bobs (November and December)

I am pleased with myself!  I don't do NaNoWriMo because...no.  I would drive myself nuts trying to make that happen.  Instead, I set myself writing goals and sign up for the Good Omens Holiday Gift Exchange.  This year, I completed my go_exchange fic (albeit turned in a few days late because I couldn't line up a beta in time), wrote a flashfic every week for the ds_snippets weekly prompts, and volunteered as a pinch-hitter for the due South Seekrit Santa Gift Exchange, for which I wrote a story over the last week.  I am pleased that I used more secondary characters, more women (and that was a conscious "waitaminute, why is this OC male?" as well as "I am going to incorporate more female canon characters into my writing" decision), and worked stories from different angles than is my default.
