Over the past month and a half, I've bought a house (yay!), moved (uuuuuggghhh), and crashed my car into another car (nobody hurt, thank all bright powers, but car totaled). My SO has come to the conclusion that ze has to leave zir job for the benefit of continued mental health, so ze gave notice and will be leaving after the new year for freelance writing and homesteading/househusbanding/small-farming. We can probably afford this on my salary. My Nana (maternal grandmother) had a stroke and is currently in speech/physical therapy, so hopefully I'll still get to spend time with her during the planned family trip down to the SW US over New Years. Even though I've been feeling kinda resentful toward her and Papa for being the special kind of conservative "old-fashioned" recently (my SO will *not* be going with me on the trip), I want her to be all right.
So yeah, it's been a stressful month. *sighs* Hopefully all will go well from here on.
