I'm having the rather distressing urge to write my Cultural Studies paper as if I were Adam (an Antichrist) from "Good Omens".

"Right, so then there's appropriation, which is like...nicking somebody else's ideas and not givin' them any credit for it, which is bad. Sorta like stealin' only it's harder to prove anything."

Sadly, I don't think my professor, who already deserves nomination for sainthood for giving me an extension on said paper (thus saving my sanity), would really appreciate this as proper essay form.

That would be quite amusing. I have had similiar urges and have had to squash them as well. One day I won't and some poor professor will get a five page paper on ethics in the style of Ford Prefect or Zaphod Beeblebrox. *sigh* Personally, I would enjoy reading a paper like that.
