Corvino on "Why Moral Authority Matters"
Why it's not okay to just be ignored. Acceptance matters.
Soooo, today I had my first day of work at the public library. I fillled out forms, got a tour of the library (and helped out the tourguide a bit. I've only been in and around the place for the past eighteen years), got my schedule set (sadly only 12 hrs/wk at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up another pt position), and did a little shelf reading. It'll be pretty easy. I even get to listen to my brand new MP3 player (Labour Day sales + gift card, woot) while I work.
This evening was Shakespeare in the Park, one of my favorite summer events. We saw "All's Well That Ends Well" and I've got to say...Helena'd better keep that boy on a short leash if she wants to keep the little brat faithful. The soldier boys had cute uniforms, and it was all very well done. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night, when they'll be doing "Macbeth". Scots and swordfights and murder most foul! Yay. ^_^ I'll be a little late because of work, but I hope not to miss the prophesy.
Well, I didn't do too badly on my summer goals. Two things completed outright, and progress made on several others. I'll see about posting the character illustrations I comissioned/received from a friend of Jamie, Ben, and Anita from Capes. They rock. ^__^
