Having just seen the movie, I definitely concur. :)
There is much love for this Spock and Kirk, though I must admit I only know minute amounts about the old ones. Chekhov is my favorite too. "I know how to do this! I can do this! Out of my way, I can do this!" Heeheehee...
Must be that accent thing. It keeps getting me at every turn.
I liked how the bad guy was more of a tragic character that you could empathize with.
And yeah, this is the second movie that had me tearing up in the first ten minutes. The other was the first Chronicles of Narnia.
