Title: We Must Bear Witness

Author: H. Savinien

Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] vulgarweed

Rating: PG

Wordcount: ~3k, counting footnotes

Warnings: Non-graphic discussion of death, injury, and war.

Disclaimer: Characters and settings are the creation of Messrs. Pratchett, Gaiman, and Tolkien.  The mixing thereof is entirely my fault.

Author's Note: Title from Elie Wiesel.  The full quote is, “For the dead and the living, we must bear witness.” Aziraphale and Crowley only play a small part in the events they witness in the War.  Happy Christmas, Vulgarweed.  I apologize, but there was more world-building and less romance than requested.  This is a full fusion of Aziraphale and Crowley into Middle-Earth, I hope you like it.  For other readers, I'm afraid this might be confusing if you haven't at least seen the films of The Lord of the Rings, but I hope you'll give it a chance.  Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] yuri_shoujo for acting as beta.

Summary: There are two familiar faces on opposite sides of the War of the Ring and the Battle of the Pelennor Fields is approaching.  They are dealing with this through the time-honored traditions of passive-aggression, worry, and damage control.

Title: Heaven Enough

Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] sailorptah

Author: H. Savinien

Rating: PG, warning for Agnes's antiquated English

Disclaimer: Good Omens is the intellectual property of Messrs. Pterry and Gneil.  This fanwork is created solely as a tribute.

Wordcount: 2144

Author's Note: My Good Omens Holiday Gift Exchange 2010 fic!  The prompt was: Heaven. Not a postmodern deconstructionist "well, it's very pretty, but kind of boring and sterile" heaven, or a cynical "actually a horrible sanctimonious Stepford city" heaven, but an unironic happy place full of love and joy. Get as creative as you want with the particulars, and go crazy with the characters. Any rating. I hope this suits. I took the liberty of indulging my own fondness for sensual description. Footnotes are added for informational purposes, rather than entertainment's sake, and need not be read until the end.

Summary: Agnes decides to do a little double-checking.

The Sekrit Kraken gave me an awesome Good Omens Holiday Exchange fic!

A Memory That Wasn't Ours to Claim features Sergeant Aziraphale and Inspector Crowley of the London police force on their trip to Sandford to investigate the Sandford officers in the wake of the NWA Incident.  There are disappearing swans, mild Nicholas/Danny, PC Thatcher's observations on the merits of Nicholas' arse, rude Andies, and the tension that always exists between Aziraphale and Crowley.

Or even college fic, with Brian and Wensleydale as roommates, driving each other crazy (there's a difference between being friends and being roommates, after all).

Crowley and Aziraphale were both necessary…or else neither of them were.  Crowley hadn’t decided which.  He was leaning in favor of the former with all the powers self-interest could muster.  The point was that whichever it was, there be two of them, not one tagging about at loose ends.  Balance, the angel had called it as they muzzily drafted the first written version of the Arrangement, Aziraphale’s neat copperplate trailing off tipsily.  Crowley had nodded carefully, loosened shirt ties trailing unheeded through a puddle and staining a rich burgundy.  The word that had danced through his head, though, was ‘counterpoint.’
